Block, report, and privacy controls

Tools to deal with unwanted contact, plus clearer privacy and a cookie choice on first visit.

Block someone from their profile or inbox — they won't appear in browse and pending chat requests are declined.
Report a profile with a reason (harassment, spam, fake account, etc.). Check report status anytime under Account Settings.
Blocked users list in Account Settings — unblock if you change your mind.
Updated privacy policy with clearer disclosure of analytics, safety data, and how to reach our privacy contact.
Cookie banner on first visit — analytics only load if you're OK with it. Change your mind anytime from the privacy page.

Share your profile in Facebook groups, Reddit replies, or anywhere you already connect — without opening browse to everyone.

New toggle on My Profile: turn on a share link when you want one. Off by default — your profile stays private until you choose.
Anyone with the link sees your full profile card (same as Browse). Messaging and browse stay gated for visitors who are not members yet.
Links are unlisted (not in search). Turn the toggle off anytime and the link stops working.
Visitors who are not logged in see a clear path to create their own free shareable profile — share when you want, or keep it private.
Added an info button on My Profile explaining daily chat request and accept limits — and why they exist as a spam safeguard.

Clearer labels for starring and hiding profiles, plus a photo-only grid view when you want to scan faces fast.

Save is now Favorite — star a profile and open your favorites list from the chip at the top. Favoriting does not remove someone from browse; use Hide when you want them gone.
Hide replaces “Not interested” — eye-slash icon matches the hidden chip, with a toast that links to your hidden list.
List / Grid toggle beside “profiles found”: grid shows photos only; click any tile for the full profile.
In grid view, Favorite sits top-left and Hide top-right on each photo.

Heybaby shut down in 2024. We added a page explaining what we're building instead for people who miss it.

Saved and hidden lists should finally match the numbers you see — and hiding someone actually sticks.

Saved profile count now matches what appears when you open your saved list (including for admins browsing both genders).
Soft-deleted or paused profiles drop out of saved and hidden counts automatically.
The ✕ “Not interested” button is saved to your account (not just this browser session) and removes the star if you had saved them.
Saved and hidden views ignore your browse filters so you can always find people you marked — with a note on screen when filters are off.
Distance filter “profiles found” now matches the list you see on screen.

After onboarding, you can tell us how you found Pretty Good Dating (optional — helps us grow thoughtfully).
Email verification links now stay valid for 7 days instead of about an hour.
If a verification link has expired, you get a clear page explaining how to request a fresh one.
Browse filters improved: distance from you, when someone joined, and minimum height.
Filter panel redesigned with radio buttons and visible “active filter” chips.
